LOW MOISTURE CLEANING (our favourite)

  • Pre vacuum

  • Using a selected chemical sprayed and agitated into carpet, followed by dry compound powder (acting as natural sponges, will absorb soil-laden moisture) and agitation.

  • Vacuum removal of dry compound.

Benefits

  • minimal disruption

  • no hoses brought into your home

  • carpets are dry at the end of our clean, no down time!

  • detergent free, absolutely no sticky residue

  • woolsafe approved.

Detractor

  • cost premium (additional product used)

Encapsulation

  • Pre vacuumed

  • Using a special chemical that separates soil from carpet fibre and traps (encapsulates) the soil in a crystal that is then vacuumed out of carpet.

Benefits

  • Carpets dry to use immediately following cleaning, no “down time”

Detractor

  • Often requires a return visit or householder vacuum the following day to remove the “crystalised soil”

What's involved?

  • vacuum

  • spray selected cleaning chem

  • agitation of chem into carpet fibre

  • dwell time

  • removal of chem and soil using rinse extraction (high power vacuums and water pump)

Chemicals

Wherever practical we use Ph neutral and approved to EN14476 to kill viruses – more information is available on the M Power website.

WoolSafe Approved / Cleanseal approved / Certified to kill viruses / Manufactured from 100% natural plant based materials, M-Power Carpet and Upholstery Cleaner is derived from renewable/sustainable sources. It’s fully biodegradable and exhibits antibacterial & anti-viral properties thanks to its unique natural-molecular cleaning action. Can be rinsed using water only.

Other chemicals used are generally alkaline – same method as above but will usually need an acidic rinse to neutralise back to PH neutral / slightly acidic.
